B06. American Cranberrybush (Vibernum trilobum)

This shrub has lovely white flowers in spring, and yellow to red foliage in fall. It's not really a true cranberry, but it has bright red fruit from September to February. It grows to 8-12' tall. Likes acidic, moist soils and full sun or part shade. This durable, easy to grow plant brings a variety of color throughout all the seasons. Birds eat the fruits throughout winter. Sold as a dormant bareroot seedling, 24-36 inches tall.
