Both the leaves and the yellow flowers of this tree have a tulip-like shape. It is a tall, quick growing, beautiful hardwood. It is excellent for providing shade. It will grow to 70+' tall and 40+' across. This tree tolerates a range of soils and grows best in acidic, moist loamy soil. It prefers full sun. Sold as a dormant bareroot seedling, 24-36 inches tall.
