About the Equipment Rental Program
We rent out specialized pieces of equipment to farmers at a low cost. The goal of the program is to improve soil and water quality in Strafford County; farmers can implement conservation practices on their land with this equipment that would otherwise be quite costly. Most of our equipment was purchased with funds from state grants. The rental fees we collect are used only to maintain the equipment, and replace it when necessary.
Click on each piece of equipment to learn more about its conservation benefits under the “equipment rentals” menu at the top of the page.
Rental Fee Payments
You can pay for equipment rentals with a check, or right here using a credit card, debit card, or PayPal account.
Please do not submit a payment until you have received instructions to do so from the Conservation District.
Once District staff have calculated your payment, you can pay by clicking on the “Pay Now” button below and entering the total amount on the next screen. You’ll then be given the option to check out using a PayPal account, or using a credit card or debit card.
Thank you for supporting the Conservation District! Please contact us if you have any questions.
